Everyone has dust in their home, so why should that even be a subject worth considering? While dust definitely does tend to gather up easily, keeping dust levels in your home, as well as, in your place of business down is very important for your health. Inhaling dust can lead to a multitude of different respiratory issues, and the finer the dust, the greater the risk. In fact, in some cases it can even lead to cancer and fibrosis of the lungs. So, how can you protect yourself? It is important that your cleaning methods don’t just stir up the dust into the air. Your vacuum cleaner should be in good repair with a working filter so that it doesn’t just expel the dust. Preferably, you should have a vacuum cleaner with a HEPA filter, since these filters are excellent at collecting particles that other filters let through.
If you have machinery that generates a lot of fine dust, you should have a collector that vents as much of the dust as possible to the outside.
