Many businesses have cement flooring, and we are all aware of the pain it can cause when you spend a large amount of time standing on it throughout the day. Many businesses have chosen to invest in rubber flooring to make this less of an issue.
Rubber flooring can be made from recycled tires, so it is environmentally friendly in that way. It is also near indestructible, lasting a long time despite much wear. It isolates sound and is slip resistant, as well as, anti-static, which makes it an ideal floor cover for a wide range of different applications.
There are some things to keep in mind when you have rubber flooring though. Light and heat could make rubber flooring more brittle and it could break. There are also chemicals that will damage it, so be acquainted with any chemicals you use and their interaction with rubber. When rubber flooring is installed in tiles, there is also the chance that liquids leak inbetween to the floor below and damage it.
